Gene targeting strategy for B-hCD147 mice.
The exons 2-6 of mouse Cd147 gene that encode the extracellular domain were replaced by human CD147 exons 2-6 in B-hCD147 mice.
Strain specific CD147 expression analysis in heterozygous B-hCD147 mice by flow cytometry.
Blood were collected from WT and heterozygous B-hCD147 (H/+) mice, and analyzed by flow cytometry with anti-mouse CD147 antibody (Biolegend, 123707, OX-114) and anti-human CD147 antibody (Biolegend, 306213, HIM6). Mouse CD147 was detectable in WT and heterozygous B-hCD147 mice. Human CD147 was exclusively detectable in heterozygous B-hCD147 but not WT mice.
